  1. It is a holiday that means the birth of the sun in Turks and is celebrated in the name of the sun cult in the geography of Central Asia from the period of the ancestors cult in the Proto-Turks to the present day. It is celebrated every year on the first full moon after December 22. The reason for this is that, according to the old belief of the Turks, they constantly fight day and night, just like in Egyptian mythology, and December 21 is the longest night, and then the Sun starts to appear more and the days get longer. Therefore, the first day of the first full moon following December 22, based on the lunar year, is the first day of the new year.
